Programs & Services Overview

Individual Support

Through this program we provide individuals and families with information and support to help them understand and cope with epilepsy. This includes information about legislation, research, and resources. A monthly support group for people with epilepsy and their families provides a forum to discuss concerns while sharing support and encouragement. Emergency medication funding is also available.

Be Seizure Smart for Teens Program

We partner with high school health teachers across Delaware to educate teens about epilepsy and how to help someone having a seizure.

Training for Professionals

We provide training on seizures and epilepsy tailored to a of variety of professionals, including law enforcement, first responders, educators, school nurses, and senior-serving staff.

Public Awareness Program

We seek to lessen, and ultimately eliminate, the stigma added to the term epilepsy. This program includes educational presentations to small and large groups as well as information provided as requested by individuals.
