We appreciate the opportunity to speak to service groups about epilepsy, specifically what it is and isn’t. Although epilepsy is more prevalent than cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and cystic fibrosis combined, it is still a disorder shrouded in myths and stigmas. We’d value the opportunity to give you some accurate information on the disorder. Whenever we can dispel myths, the quality of life for people with epilepsy improves.
